Assured Towing was started in October of 1998 by Les Juliano. Les had worked and run a recovery business for many years and was looking to expand on his knowledge of the industry. The transition over to the everyday style of the towing industry seemed like a natural move for him. He founded Assured Towing Services for the simple reason of providing the finest possible towing service possible. With the many towing companies out there, this would not seem to be a very easy job indeed. His first move was to build a client list that would be sufficient enough to survive on. He did so easily and for two years, growth was steady but slow. He knew that the type of services he wanted to provide were in heavy demand, but how was one with limited funds to portray this to the rest of the world without it taking decades to do so. In January of 2000, Les decided to conduct his own investigation as to what the customers truly wanted in their services and how they wanted them serviced. He was astonished. He found that he could not keep up with the responses he was receiving. He found that almost no one in the industry had presented these questions to their clients.

The overwhelming responses triggered Les to put together the finest talents in the industry and start what was to be the turning point of Assured Towing. In his hunt for answers from customers and fellow towers, he was introduced to Jess Horton. Jess was a partner in another towing company, Austin Express Towing. He to had a desire to make huge changes in the industry towards the customer and presented another challenge as well. He wanted to provide a multi-Service company that had it all for their clients. A first of a kind towing company that serviced not just the towing needs of their clients, but go beyond this and introduce services that worked around their customers needs, and on top of that, he wanted these new services to become what is now known today as the "Assured Partners Program". Jess wanted to revolutionize the industry and was under the assumption that all businesses, including towing services, should answer their clients with the utmost respect and that they should be treated like "Kings and Queens". With his marketing background as well as being in the towing industry for over a decade was key to the very attitude that Assured Towing has today towards its clients. Les approached Jess with the proposal to combine forces and do what they both knew could not be done alone. In April of 2000, Jess departed his old company and joined Les for just that, the chance to actually make a difference. In the next 6 months, Assured Towing grew over 700% with the introduction of new services and sending out the message that the old ways were being thrown out the door and the new attitude towards customers in the towing industry was being welcomed in. The response was much quicker than Les or Jess ever expected. Within three years after they joined forces, Assured Towing was now one of the largest and still fastest growing towing services in the Central Texas area. They recruited some of the finest drivers and dispatchers in the industry. They exposed the nature of towing companies and forced their hand in having to deal with the issues.

In December of 2003, Assured Towing, Inc., now a multi-service corporation, acquired Bernie's Towing Service, Inc. Bernie's was once the largest impound company in the Austin Metro area. They acquired the equipment and the company itself and moved the Bernie's Towing operation next to their new 7 acre storage and business facility on Brandt Road. With the acquisition of Bernie's Towing Service, Inc., this marked Assured Towing, Inc. as the new outright leader in the Impound Towing industry as well as mark a new dawn for all customers of commercial properties and apartment communities everywhere. They finally had a very loud megaphone to talk into and voice their concerns and greatest needs, on top of have all of those needs and concerns addressed. Today, Assured Towing, Inc. is still forging on to mark themselves as the ultimate customer service driven towing company in the industry.

In 2007, Assured Towing Inc. opened its doors in San Antonio, TX. What an exciting city. We had no idea that we would have been in such large demand. We received a tremendous welcome from all. This move has only solidified the power house we have become in the towing industry and allow us to expand our services that much more. Muchas Gracias San Antonio!

In December of 2007, Assured Towing purchased one of the largest towing companies in San Antonio, Bill's Wrecker Service. Bill Lane and his family had been running Bill's Wrecker since 1963. It is a intrigual part of San Antonio's history, tradition and they had been deeply involved in the transistion of the towing industry in San Antonio for those years. We welcome all new clients from Bill's Wrecker Service over to our happy family of clients and invite all to call anytime to find out about some of the wonderful services Assured Towing will be able to expand upon for you.
